  • Consumer Agreement

  • Once an order is placed and paid for, changes/substitutions/deletions for standard orders are allowed up to 12 hours after placing the order. After 12 hours, an admistrative fee of 5.00 USD is charged or you may place a separate order. Should packing and shipping actually be able to combine the two orders into one box for the same shipping price, it will be done. If not, a seperate and new shipping charge will apply.

    You may purchase merchandise from this Web site by using any of the payment options listed.

    PRICES:

    All prices are US Dollars. Shipping and Handling charges will be calculated during checkout.

    PAYMENTS:

    Payments are processed by our secure online servers or PayPal and can be made using your Credit/Debit card, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Your Credit/Debit card statement will read Payments@botanicabasics.com. Orders paid for by this method will be shipped right out. If you are using a PayPal e-check, your order will not ship until the e-check funds have cleared (usually 3-5 days). Please do not ask us to ship before e-checks have cleared.

    We accept local personal and business checks at our descretion. NO STARTED CHECKS! All checks must be pre-printed with either the Business Name, Name, Address and Phone Number. A Drivers License or State ID number with date of birth may be requested. For orders to be shipped out, the check must clear first (usually 5-7 days). Please do not ask us to ship before your check has cleared. TWO (2) PARTY CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

    Returned checks will incur a $35.00 return check fee. If your order was to be shipped, you will then only have the option of paying for your order with a Credit/Debit Card or Paypal (non-e-check) and the $35.00 returned check fee will be added onto your bill and the invoice marked as such for your and our records. Refusal of payment of the returned check fee means your order will be cancelled and you will be added to a fraud order list. All others with a returned check will be turned over to the Prosecuting Attorney.

    Botanica Basics reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you.



  • Shipping & Delivery

  • At this time, Botanica Basics ships merchandise to locations within the United States and U.S. territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa and the US Virgin Islands.

    SHIPPING:

    Please make sure you have the COMPLETE ADDRESS for where you want your purchase delivered. Missing apartment numbers, suite or room numbers, bay numbers, etc, means an added delay in the delivery and sometimes deliveries are turned away because of a lack of final identifying address markers. We have NO control over this, this is how many gated, secure communities and also military bases and housings operate.

    Shipping charges are based on the current published rates of the United States Postal Service and include Tracking/Delivery Confirmation, our handling charge and also insurance on all orders over $15.00. An email notifying you of your purchase being shipped will be sent out.

    Orders Over $50.00 - FREE DELIVERY

    DELIVERY:

    Your purchase will be shipped in 1-2 business days, but please allow extra time during busy periods like major gift holidays. If you/your receipent has not received the order within 10 days, please contact us at customerservice@botanicabasics or call us at (417) 399-8047.

    At this time, Next Day Express Shipping is not availible.



  • International

  • We sell and ship to Canada, Austrailia, New Zealand, Japan, the UK and many (but not all) countries in Europe and the EU. We ship via USPS SMALL PACKAGE (4lb limit) or GLOBAL PRIORITY MAIL. This is the most economical way to ship Internationally. We are unable to track or insure these packages using this shipping method. All Taxes, Customs, Import Charges and VAT are the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER ON THEIR END. Contact your local customs office for details.

    Custom Forms will be filled out with the exact nature of the products contained within the package. NO EXCEPTIONS!

    Import/Custom laws vary in each country. It is the buyer's responsibility to check with their Country's Customs office to verify whether your country allows the shipment of our products/your purchases. Botanica Basics is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from any proper or improper international shipping practices.

  • Return Policy
  • Due to the nature and composition of our products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any products. They are handmade, handcrafted natural based cosmetic products. However, if a product arrives in less than optimal condition, we will work with you to try and secure your satisfaction.

    Certain items will soften or liquify in warmer weather and conversely some products will harden in colder weather. This is a natural occurance as our products do not contain mineral oils and waxes or artificial stabilizers and hardeners.

    All of our ingredients are listed in English on thier respective product pages in the standard universal INCI labeling format as requried by the USFDA and the PCPA (Personal Care Products Assoc.). Please read all product descriptions and their respective ingredients BEFORE purchasing them as we cannot accept returns because of an ingredient "issue".
