Our mission is simple: To provide quality Handcrafted Soap and Natural Based Personal Care Products that respect your body and the environment. We take great pride in our company, our commitment to customer service and in the products we sell.

Located in the lush, rolling hills of the Missouri Ozarks, Botanica Basics is a small, farm based business specializing in handcrafted soaps, natural and natural based bath & body products. We design, formulate and create our products in our dedicated 500 sq ft soap studio and lab. 

Our core product line is handcrafted soaps that are 100% vegetable oil based. Our soaps are made by us from start to finish with our own soap base mix, not a melt and pour soap base or pre-made soap base noodle or blocks.  More than half of our products are scented or flavored with naturally derived  fragrance blends (essential oils, plant extracts and resins plus natural aroma chemical componants). We also use top quality synthetic fragrance blends as a good half of our customer base wants scents that either cannot be created with 100% natural based fragrance blends or the costs to create or purchase them are too prohibitive for use.

Botanica Basics Handcrafted Soaps, Bath & Body are

Mild and non-stripping;
Use phythalate free fragrances;
Contain natural glycerin;
Contain very minumal synthetic additives.

Our Scentless Planet line is all of the above, plus 100% No Added Fragrances, Colors or Flavors. 

In our freestanding, dedicated Soap Studio and Lab, located in the heart of the Ozarks, we create the best handcrafted soap, bath & body care in the region. We're repeatedly told our products rival and are even better than many name brand natural soaps and products.  We will continue to meet and exceed our customers expectations.
